Bromley swept past Nomads 28-15 at Epsom College to go top of the National League with a statement win. A 13-korf margin underlined the leaders’ early authority — and left Nomads anchored to the foot of the table after two straight defeats.

The Match

On a Sunday afternoon at Epsom College, Bromley set the tempo from the outset and never really let Nomads settle into the contest. The visitors were sharper in their passing, more clinical around the post area, and consistently turned pressure into scores as the game wore on.

In a high-scoring display, Bromley’s spread of goals told the story of a side playing with confidence and rhythm, running up 28 korfs across the match. Nomads battled for long spells but couldn’t match that efficiency, finishing on 15 as Bromley’s defence forced tougher looks and limited second chances.

The final 13-korf gap was as emphatic as it sounds, and it matters beyond the scoreboard: Bromley have backed up their opening win to make it two from two, while Nomads are now staring at an early-season test of character with the relegation zone already their reality.

What It Means

• Bromley move into 1st with 4 points from two matches (GD +20), making it a perfect WW start and keeping them firmly in the promotion zone.
• The league leaders are already 4 points clear of relegation, and this kind of margin is an early warning to the chasing pack that they have both form and firepower.
• Nomads remain 10th with 0 points from two games (GD -23) and are in the relegation zone after a second straight loss (LL).
• For the home side, there is at least a small scheduling silver lining: Nomads have a game in hand on the team above, but they are still four points behind the leaders and must find a response quickly to climb off the bottom.
• With only 6 of 90 fixtures completed, the table is still in its early shape — but Bromley’s early surge has given the title conversation a front-runner, while the relegation battle already has a clear team under immediate pressure.
